Disclaimer
By using Zoned, you acknowledge this page, including how zoning outputs are provided, how contractors may receive your contact information and reach you when you consent in a lead flow, and the limits of our liability. The Privacy Policy describes collection and sharing in more detail.
Information Accuracy
The zoning information, setback calculations, and property data displayed on this website are derived from publicly available data sources, including the City of Ottawa's Open Data Portal and the Ottawa Zoning By-law 2026-50. While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information, we cannot guarantee that all data is current, complete, or error-free.
Zoning regulations, property boundaries, and building requirements may change without notice. The information presented should be considered a preliminary guide only and may not reflect the most current official records.
This website is not an official City of Ottawa resource and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the City of Ottawa.
Contractor matching, your information, and contact
When you submit a lead or intake flow that asks for your contact details and includes consent to share information with a contractor or partner, Zoned may match you to a contractor and share your information so that business can follow up with you. Matching uses operational rules such as zoning area, project type, capacity limits, and—where applicable—a referral or partner code associated with your visit.
Depending on the workflow, shared information can include your name, email address, phone number, property address, project interest, zoning or lot context from the tool, planning-session or site-plan outputs, and campaign or referral attribution. Contractors typically receive this through email notifications and may also receive data through CRM systems, webhooks, or automation tools (for example Zapier) they have connected to their account. Those systems are operated by the contractor or their vendors, not by Zoned.
Contractors may contact you by email, phone, text/SMS where you provided a number, or through scheduling or CRM links they send. Frequency, timing, and content of those messages are decided by the contractor. Zoned does not supervise day-to-day contractor sales or marketing practices.
Assignment or display of a contractor in the product is not an endorsement, guarantee of quality, or warranty of workmanship. Contractors are independent third parties. Any agreement for services is between you and them (or as otherwise stated in their terms). Zoned is not a party to that relationship and is not liable for contractor conduct, quotes, schedules, or outcomes.
If you do not want a contractor to receive your details, do not submit flows that require contractor-sharing consent, or contact us as described in our Privacy Policy for applicable requests.
Partner and contractor applications: If you apply through partner or contractor-intake forms (for example “Become a partner”), Zoned collects the business and contact information you provide to evaluate and administer that program. That is separate from homeowner lead routing but may be stored and used as described in the Privacy Policy.
